About Us

Our firm was created by Brenda S. Catalanatto in June of 2001.  Brenda expanded the firm over the years as she obtained her Certified Valuation Analyst Certification, investment, and health insurance credentials.  She also created a niche strategy with a focus on assisting clients going through the divorce process, as well as estate planning.

In 2015, Tami Barnes joined the firm.  In 2019, Tami Barnes became a co-owner of the firm and the firm was re-named, Catalanatto & Barnes CPAs, LLC.

Our firm provides a number of accounting services. Our focus is the preparation of income tax returns for individuals and business clients with an emphasis on tax planning to reduce the tax liability of the person or entity.  We also provide bookkeeping training utilizing QuickBooks Online and Desktop with a goal of making our clients as independent and knowledgeable as they become more comfortable.  We also provide the following services:

Our firm charges by the hour for all services.  Each staff member has a separate billing rate that is utilized to determine the fees for the services provided.  Our fee schedule can be found here.
